I have genuinely never been more influenced by a Substack post. That stuff like "how to stop thinking and start winning" cannot touch me but this reached deep inside me and touched my inner little rascal, my psychic scallywag, the rapscallion of my soul

Girl, you will be the inspiration for the art form I am going to create.

I'm not joking.

I am doing my degree thesis (not sure how that translates in American college, but it's a big deal) on the inherent artisticity (?) of memes, and you are 100% getting in my case studies.

Girl I'm gonna translate it in English just for that

The flyer felt too real. I think it was the rent amount that sold the pitch. These people just want to keep living in San Francisco, and that’s the price.

The Norman Polycule Project needs to be immortalized as a zine because this is a thing of beauty.

yknow you’re the second person to suggest a zine and i love that haha

I think it would be the perfect place to immortalize these projects! I feel like they exist in a liminal space between trolling and conceptual art.

Everything about this is amazing. Your write up (+ the data analysis) is sooo good. Easily read the whole thing. I love how funny everyone else is too, it’s like a high quality improv show. In a world that’s too online and too serious, keep up the mischief!

This is beautiful. There are so few women who have a refined appreciation for the fine art of shitposting and misinformation. I'm a bit of a troublemaker myself (credentials here https://questioner.substack.com/p/they-targeted-gamers-gamers) and if you're ever in Boston I'd love to buy you a drink and brainstorm about potential new ways to cause trouble.

I heard about this in passing by other people. Now I’m reading this??? What is reality what if this is the lie 😭. Are we in the matrix??

Bay Area real estate will have all but the ultra wealthy rethinking monogamy.

β€œThe only way we can afford a one bedroom is to split the rent three ways. Polycule it is.”

Love how Grok's headline confused even itself as it hallucinated "Sparks" into Norman's last name. I'll do my part to make Norman Sparks this generation's Seymor Butts

I'm polyamorous, and yes, this is hilarious!

I like the stats too. I can't believe so many 20-year-olds were into the concept of Deborah.

I was also concerned at first that people would think it was taking a jab at polyamory and trying to have more people make fun of it, but there are too many jokes in it that poly people would actually like. Like things we make fun of among ourselves . And people that hate poly are going to hate it regardless lol

The best satire is that which is indistinguishable from the real thing. You did it! Well done!!
