This is incredible, I canβt wait to try it out. I hope FedEx printing or some printer company sponsors you and writes you a fat check for this important work.
You really have something here! I hope you do get enough support to be able to add more development into it. Your noted disappointments and future enhancements are enough to keep me wanting the updates.
I also agreeβsocial media is a connector and tool for finding each of our audiences while cultivating our IRL best practices served by a web hub, our digital real estate. I have two series, βOwning The Penβ and βOwning The Brushβ focusing on exactly this. Your print-to-newspaper idea returns to the original ways writers reached out to their audiences through chapbooks and serial pubs in newspapers. A Zine app would also of course be splendiferous! Iβm sure your brain is already wrapping itself around that one.
The RSS draw is really the best option, neutralizing all formatting in favor of efficiency. I am a bit doubtful most of my writing will work because it is both too long and footnote and bibliography heavy. Half the paper would be taken by those alone. However, I have already referred this to my partner who is a graffiti writer and will test how his Substack blog looks to be added to his shipments of sold works.
You are rightβitβs a great promotional tool. Having oneβs own printer is a very good asset these days. I have always liked having complete control over my production, but even for those who just want a spontaneous way to connect with their public or customers, printing a quick one-up of something like rt this is a totally win.
Thank you so much, Danielle! From an old newspaper reporter back in the dayβ¦. Iβm delighted to have this for my Substack. βΊοΈ Whst an amazing thing youβve created. Iβve saved to PDF on laptop, now to see how to get it to my phone to take to FED EX or UPS to print! Iβve written mostly on my I Phone; $ I made allowed me to get laptop, now Iβll save again for a printer! ππThank you so much for sharingβ¦ much love and blessings to you! Iβve subscribed and love following all your posts! π₯°π€ππ
