I recently had the silly thought that one of my favourite birds has a feather pattern that looks like it's wearing a scarf. So, of course I decided to crochet a scarf to match. The design could maybe use a little refinement but I might now be the only person in the world with a Plains Wanderer scarf and I get to go out into the world looking a little more bird-like.

It’s complicated too because we’re so heavily demonised for causing mischief. We’re almost expected to be angels 24/7. But life happens when you CAUSE the mischeif. Actually, a good chunk of my journey as a DJ would’ve never happened had I been a “good girl” and done what I was told.
But some groups face more consequences for doing so than others. If you’re a Black person (more specifically in America) you could die doing so. Breaks my heart knowing this is true. I’ve lived this in my own way. Being Muslim, I’m seen as a threat at times.
So I guess key is to find the safe space to cause the mischeif you desire. And to use your mischeif for good.
Life happens beyond the rules you may know. Cause a little mischeif. It opens up worlds of possibilities. (Just don’t set a building on fire tho lmao!)
